Andrew Aitken

Andrew Aitken is studying towards a PhD in Economics at University College London (UCL)
Andrew came to Motu in 2003 from the University of Auckland where he was awarded an MCom in Economics, a BCom (Hons) in Economics and a BA in Geography. His work at Motu was in the fields of housing, infrastructure, and labour market economics, primarily alongside Senior Fellow Arthur Grimes.
Andrew’s PhD will see him specialise within Development Economics, Labour Economics or Economic Geography. His scholarship at UCL began in September 2008.
