Stephen Jenkins
Stephen is a Professor of Applied Economics at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER), University of Essex. His research interests are in applied economics from a longitudinal perspective, with particular reference to the distribution of income and its redistribution through taxation, social security and the labour market. He is also interested in the measurement of inequality and poverty, modelling labour supply and social security benefit spell durations.
