Tom Lambie
Tom Lambie is an organic farmer from Pleasant Point in South Canterbury. His farm is 415ha, with 350ha irrigated with water sourced from farmer-owned Opuha Dam. The Dam provides water for irrigation, industry and city water supply, enhanced river environment flow, and electricity generation.
Tom is a former National President of Federated Farmers of New Zealand, current Chairman of the Opuha Water Partnership (Opuha Dam) and the Chancellor of Lincoln University since 2005. Tom has a B.Agr.Com from Lincoln University and was a Kellogg Rural Leadership Scholar in 1995.
