Vacancies

Motu offers opportunities for researchers starting out their careers to work with high calibre research and public policy experts. We employ smart graduates as Research Analysts, and also offer internships to excellent students who are interested in further study and research. We offer three main types of internships, but are flexible about timing and stage of study in some cases.

Summer Internships

Applications have closed for 2011.  Check back here from March 2012 for internship opportunities next year.

Motu offers summer internships for students completing their degree and planning to return to graduate study. Internships provide valuable experience working alongside internationally recognised economists. Students work within one or more of Motu’s major research programmes. Our summer internships are for economics and/or statistics students completing their degree and planning to return to graduate study.

Internships provide valuable experience working alongside internationally recognised economists. Interns work within any of Motu’s major research programmes such as regional and community adjustment, water quality, climate change, fisheries regulation, inequality and infrastructure.
