Motu’s Land Use in Rural New Zealand (LURNZ) model at work: Simulation results
This page shows examples of the LURNZ model at work.
The model is designed to produce dynamic paths of rural land-use change, and maps of annual rural land use change across New Zealand to empirically investigate the potential impacts of policies designed to alter land-use decisions. Go to the main LURNZ page.
Below are some examples of LURNZ simulation results, and on this page under Publications you can find papers that include LURNZ simulation results.
These results were presented by Motu as a poster at the Analysis, Integration and Modeling of Earth Systems Open Science Conference, Edinburgh, May 2010.
