Intern applications for summer 2022/23 are OPEN and close on 4 April 2022.

Want to work for a small organisation doing top quality economic and public policy research for the public good?

Applications are now open to work as an intern at Motu Economic and Public Policy Research, the top ranked economics organisation in NZ and one of the world's top ten economic think tanks.

We are looking for people who want to get a taste of real economic research, working closely with a senior researcher with a PhD from a renowned university such as Harvard, Stanford, or the London School of Economics.

Strong candidates will have:
 

  • a bachelor’s degree
  • a curiosity about economics questions
  • good computer and data analysis skills
  • strong inter-personal skills
  • an interest in doing research on microeconomic issues.

Candidates must be planning to return to university for postgraduate study after the internship.
