Motu Events

One of Motu Research's missions is to help stimulate informed debate around our most pressing economic and policy issues. One way we do this is through our event series.

Our public policy seminars are an opportunity for expert input and stakeholder dialogue on urgent economic and policy issues. We invite prominent economists and thought leaders – both international and domestic – to present their findings and engage with a panel of qualified experts. The seminars help to educate stakeholders and kick-start collective thinking in some dynamic policy areas.

Sign up to receive invitations to our public policy seminars.

See slides (and sometimes video recordings) from previous seminars here.

Several government agencies provide funding to support our seminars.

Thanks to The Treasury, the Productivity Commission, Stats NZ and EECA for their generous support.
